The MSAW with the collaboration of the Ministry of Agro Industry and Food Security has launched a “Free Mass Sterilization Campaign” since September 2015 order to control the canine population from proliferation. This long-term project is basically to solve the problem of stray dogs spreading around the island more specifically in urban and coastal regions.
